                                       INTRODUCTION-PT-2

Gibsons had their town center being set up for that day that was coming when some travelers would decide they wanted to settle down there and make it their home. That would give the area the status of becoming a new town and others would come to settle there. There's a park waiting to be developed in the town center and civic plaza is there.
The town center would be mostly community lots with a few smaller residential lots for local townies to live in.Some residents settling down would want to have a smaller lot and smaller home because they might not be into farming and won't want to build a big fancy mansion.
The central part of Gibsons is where the main school will be located for families down near the beach and for those few families with children who might live in the town center. The main households living there will mostly be young couples without children or singles who aren't married yet who might look at finding somebody to marry one day.
They'll be able to find work fairly easily in both part-time and full time jobs and they can also skill up for advancing on their jobs. Most families living in smaller homes on smaller lots will be poor families who rushed into starting their families too soon and the adults didn't plan ahead very well.
The town introduced the town center's Garden House after travelers kept getting stuck there with nowhere to stay unless they camped out which was fine in the summer though it led to serious problems in the winter with it being too cold to camp out and the danger of camping in the winter became too clear after some travelers died from the cold.
The Garden House idea was a big help for the town center and it meant travelers could be safe in the colder seasons instead of dying from exposure in the cold from trying to camp out in late fall or during the winter. It would also provide a great place for single parents with toddlers to earn money.
The single parents with tiny tots would see this as an ideal option for earning money because they wouldn't have to hire babysitters to look after their children while they were working to earn money though it was seasonal and unavailable in the winter so the town had to provide a homemaker's career for those single parents to take care of their child and be able to still earn money in the winter.
This was great for any family with a toddler or who'd not saved up enough cash before having that first child so the dad could take the little one out and work at Garden House or the elixir shop to earn money to supplement the wife's income.
The next addition to Gibsons when they heard that some travelers would eventually want to settle there and live there was another store up in the hills where the only big farming lot were all located. It was put there for the convenience of the families living up there who might need to shop for groceries or find a job and want to work closer to home.
The store up there also had a diner for when those households wanted to have a cheap meal out and the families up there might also need to get a school or have their children get home schooled until the town saw fit to put a small schoolhouse up there for the children in those families.
The next idea Gibsons had was adding a second Garden House on Mountain Road where the locals would be able to use the facilities and earn extra money to be able to afford computers even faster.
It would also benefit the single parents who just happened to live up there so they wouldn't have to go far to find a place to work and earn money. This workplace would give them the ability to take their baby or toddler with them and have the child at their workplace instead of having to pay a babysitter to watch the child when they might not be able to afford it.That was meant to help single parents who were struggling with a toddler and no money.
The town of Gibsons made a house on 18 Mountain Road and kept it very small and very cheap for any new travelers who might choose to buy a home and settle down there. This temptation was soon to prove too great to resist for one young couple who's journey took them to the west coast and up the coast as far as Gibsons.
There were a few other couples on the ship that had their tickets for Gibsons and would decide later if they could afford to go the rest of the way or needed to stop and settle down in Gibsons. All of the couples chose to extend their tickets to finish their travels and settle down later except for one.
The one couple who decided to buy the property at 18 Mountain Road were poor Russian immigrants who'd used everything they had to get to North America looking for a better life for their kids and the generations to come.
Twelve year old Eli Jankowsky had come over to North America from Russia with her twelve year old husband Ami looking for a better life and the best chance for it was out west and that place at 18 Mountain Road in Gibsons was their best shot for a better life and they'd be town founders which would put them into a more powerful position in the new home town.
The Jankowskys had had it very hard in Russia with not being able to find anything they could afford and be able to start a family in.They could only afford to rent a room and that wouldn't work for having children because they would become too crowded with everything the child would need as they went through the toddler stage.
Eli didn't see any hope of starting a family and their future would be very bleak if they did try to start a family in Russia with the conditions they would have to deal with like not being able to earn enough money for a place suitable for starting a family and raising children. That left them with their only option being to come to North America to start new lives as immigrants and settlers in a new town. That was the option that Eli ended up finding the most attractive to her.
That led to them making the dangerous journey to North America on the ship sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and their long journey out west to the west coast where they'd catch a steamer up the coast to Gibsons and have to choose between buying the house there and having to add onto it later though it had a large sized lot or continuing on and not being able to get a large lot and having to settle for a tiny starter home on a tiny lot.Eli was the one who chose to spend their last remaining money on that larger lot with the tiny shanty house and make the best of it.
