CHAPTER-1:1:26 (FIRST FALL) -DAY-26
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up so early it was still dark out when they got up that morning and started getting ready for the new day.It was also so cold out that there was a heavy frost on the ground early in the morning which might not thaw out.
It was still dark out as Eli started taking her turn in the washroom while Ami started playing chess outside.
They both played chess in their outerwear while they waited for daybreak to come so they could tend the garden though the outdoor plants would still be dormant and couldn't be tended unless it thawed out.
It wasn't long before it had gotten late enough to start tending their garden that day and they were both working on that.There was still a lot of frost on the ground as the sun rose and no signs of it thawing out at all that day.
Eli and Ami stopped their activities to start getting ready for work at about noon with lunch and taking turns using the washroom.They didn't really have very far to go to get to work since it was near their home.
They ended up leaving for work at 3PM and were gone until about 7PM and it was still frosty out because it remained cold all day and would never warm up overnight.
They were home from work at about 7PM and ended up getting ready for bed by 7:30 in the evening.
